Jim Corbett National Park is the first wildlife reserve of India and its varied topography comprises hilly and riverine areas, temporary marshy depressions, plateaus and ravines. In the Jim Corbett National Park there are 110 tree species found, 580 bird species, 50 mammals’ species, and 25 reptile species are found. Main animals found in the national park include the tiger, elephant, chital, nilgai, sambar, wild boar, king cobra, hedgehog, flying fox etc. The best time for the tourists on Indian tour and holidays to visit the national park is from the month of November to mid of June as after that monsoons flood the river and the road link is cut.
